Are YOU A Dream Rider?
Dream Ride is more than a charity ride for cars
and motorcycles. It’s a gathering of people
interested in camaraderie, helping out good causes,
and having a great time!
This year’s ride benefits Special Olympics
Connecticut. This charitable organization is dedicated
to providing year-round school and community based
sports, training, and competition for our 5000
athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Adam J. Bozzuto, founder of Bozzuto’s Inc.,
had a dream to build a facility in Connecticut
where special children could thrive and experience
joy from the opportunities that the facility could
provide.
Through your participation in Dream Ride, we’ll
be that much closer to making dreams come true!

Who
is SOCT?
SOCT
provides year-round sports training and athletic competitions
for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in
27 Olympic-type sports.
SOCT serves 5,079 athletes throughout the state. In order
to provide the most inclusive and meaningful school and
community based sports training and competition for its
athletes with intellectual disabilities, SOCT opens its
doors and offers the opportunity to an additional 1,677
athletes who train and compete as partners alongside their
disabled peers.
Founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Special Olympics
inspires greatness to over 2.2 million athletes worldwide
who benefit from their participation in this movement. The
benefits of Special Olympics reach beyond the athletes who
participate. The coaches, volunteer, families and donors
experience joy from the opportunities that the Special Olympics
movement brings into their lives.
